The Soul Of An Animal

How I know For Sure that Animals Have Souls.

When I look at the face of one of my beloved pets, I can see their personality as clear as day in their beautiful eyes!
Much like the exquisite face of my daughter, her personality dances in her gorgeous hazel eyes.

There's a reason that they say "The eyes are the windows to the soul". When you look into another beings eyes, you can immediately tell if they are happy or sad, angry or upset, content or even, in love!

We as humans, seem to glance over this fact when it comes to animals. Well, not everyone does this. Animal lovers have the upper hand when it comes to seeing an animal's soul, that much is absolutely true.

Animals are pure of heart, mind and body, so that makes their souls uniquely beautiful and spiritual. If only everyone could see and understand this....our world would be such a happier, peaceful and loving place. This is especially true for our animal friends, but also for our children. I believe this to be true.

All you have to do is look around on social media to witness all the horror that is going on in our world with animals. (Honestly, if you can't stand the pain, DON'T look!! Because it will break your heart and cause you many sleepless nights!) Is this what we want our children to witness as they grow up? Is this the kind of violence we want to leave as a legacy?

For the life of me, I don't know how these human monsters get away with these crimes! And I will never understand HOW they can look at an innocent animal, look into those EYES, and do what they do! It is infuriating to me and to all animal lovers and activists!

It breaks our hearts into a million pieces...pieces that  never quite find their way back again.
We try so hard to find a way to stop this brutality. We cry, scream, gasp at images on social media and try to express our anger in text, we rescue, and help others rescue and adopt...but still, the images of this reality never quite go away...

Only  beings with a pure soul, and no voice, could possibly EVER deal with the pain inflicted upon them! They plead, cry and scream with their eyes...and only a few humans see this.
That's how I know animals have souls. Souls that live on long after they leave this earth.

This was the story that inspired my post! A gut-wrenching story, witnessed by animal lovers in China who tried to stop this evil B***ARD from beating a Golden Retriever to death!!!!
THIS is the type of CRIME that goes on all over the world!
This poor, innocent Golden (who are one of the most gentle, affectionate and loving breeds) was beaten over and over for three hours!!) And people tried to stop this brutality!!!
Now there is a petition to bring charges against this "officer"!!

PLEASE SIGN HERE!! Petition to Bring Charges Against Man who Beat Golden Retriever To Death

Why can't EVERY animal, every pet, be treated with respect, kindness, compassion and love?
We need to start asking ourselves that question, and then ask others. Teach your children now, about kindness towards animals and all beings.
If we continue this way.....we will leave behind nothing but sadness and horror for future animals.

And for the future of our children and grandchildren.  DO SOMETHING NOW, please!

Frozen Hearts, Forgotten Lives: The Peril Of Pets In Winter

Keeping Your Pets Safe: Why They Belong Inside During Freezing Weather When temperatures drop, your pets rely on you to protect them from the cold. Leaving them outside in freezing conditions is not only dangerous for their health—it can also lead to serious legal consequences. Here’s why keeping your pets indoors during winter isn’t just a kindness; it’s a responsibility. 1. Freezing Temperatures Are Life-Threatening Dogs and cats are susceptible to frostbite, hypothermia, and other cold-related injuries. Contrary to popular belief, fur is not enough to keep them warm. Frostbite can damage their ears, tails, and paws, while hypothermia can cause their organs to shut down. Even hardy breeds like Huskies need proper shelter and care to survive extreme conditions. 2. IT'S THE LAW In many states and cities, it’s illegal to leave pets outside in extreme weather. If a neighbor sees your dog or cat left in the cold, they can—and often will—call animal control, the Humane Society, or ev...

WHAT IS COMPASSION SCHOOL?

I get this question a lot. What is Compassion School? It’s not just another program or curriculum—it’s a movement. Compassion School is a groundbreaking approach to education designed to nurture empathy, kindness, and respect for animals in children from an early age. Imagine a classroom where math, science, and language arts intertwine with lessons on understanding animal emotions, advocating for creatures in need, and recognizing the interconnectedness of all life. That’s Compassion School.   Why Focus on Empathy for Animals?   Children are naturally curious about animals, but that curiosity isn’t always guided toward understanding and respect. Traditional education often overlooks emotional intelligence toward non-human lives. Compassion School fills that gap. Here’s why it matters:    Empathy as a Foundation: Empathy isn’t just "being nice"—it’s a critical life skill. Studies show that children who practice empathy toward animals develop stronger...
