Today Is Your Day

This past Tuesday, March 3rd, was London's 10th birthday!

It was a happy and sad day for me, a mixed bag of emotions and memories.
But, time does march on, and my daughter is growing into the most amazing young lady.
She is warm and compassionate, daring and dramatic, funny and very sure of what she does and who she is!
I'm very proud of her....my little Londoncat!

So here  are two videos for this week. One is a walk down memory lane of the past ten years.
I worked on this as a gift to London, and showed her on her special day.
The second video is our third installment of ASK LONDON!

I hope you enjoy them both.  Click on the link below to watch, "Today Is Your Day".

Paradisiac Beauty

Paradisiac Beauty:  A place of ideal beauty or loveliness, relating to or befitting Paradise.    I want to introduce you to a lovely women named Valerie.     Valerie has a blog called Paradisic Beauty, where she writes about the plight of abused animals all over the world. (www.paradisicbeauty.wordpress.com)    Val shows us through her written word, how we can begin to change our way of thinking about animal abuse. She even shows us products and foods that are organic and cruelty free.    Her topics are diverse. From animal testing in labs, to beautiful wolves being caught and dying in traps, to barbaric "sports" like horse wrangling. And here at home, she writes about the daily abuse that numerous pets endure. She writes about the ones that no one sees.....she is their voice! All of these horrific things and many others, go on each and every day, all over the world. And in EACH instance, the animals die a slow and ...

Smiling On The Outside

Are you an animal activist? Do you love and defend animals at all costs? Do you rescue, care for and educate others about animals in need? If yes, then you must be smiling on the outside, while your heart is breaking on the inside. Many people I know are doing this right now, and it's killing them! Almost four years ago, I read an incredibly sad post on Facebook. It was about a women, who I did not know. She had taken her own life that day. The whole reason it grabbed my attention was of course, why was she so unhappy that she did this? What could have been going on, that would make her want to end her life? I was compelled by this poor soul, and felt that her life did mean something, as everyone's life does. When I read through the comments, what I immediately noticed, was that she had been an animal activist. She had tried and had succeeded at helping many animals, at the expense of her own life. The comments revealed that when she no longer had the strength...
